Mr. Southwest Michigan Scholarship Program

All contestants in the Mr. Southwest Michigan Scholarship Program will receive a scholarship for their continuing education!

When & Where

• Friday, July 30, 2010, 8am-Noon Dress Rehearsal
• 1pm-4pm Interviews
• 7pm 2011 Mr. Southwest Michigan Scholarship Program

Productions will be held at the Dowagiac Middle School Performing Arts Center.

Orientation, Workshops, Rehearsals, & Fund Raisers

• Orientation: Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 8am-noon.
  Contestants manuals will be handed out, along with education on the competitions. Please plan to bring a parent or guardian.

• Leadership Training Workshops: Saturday, June 12, 2010 & Saturday, June 26, 2010, both held from 8am - 5pm (Optional).

• First Production Rehearsal:

           Saturday, July 17, 2010 8am-Noon (Not Optional)

All will be held at the First Assembly of God Church on Niles Avenue in St. Joseph, Michigan.

• Second Production Rehearsal:

           Saturday, July 24, 2010 8am-Noon (Not Optional)

This one will be held at the Dowagiac Middle School Performing Arts Center.

• Fundraisers: Contestants are expected to participate in fundraisers. These are considered your community service work. It will give you the opportunity to see if you will be able to handle the responsibilities of being a representative of Southwest Michigan.
