Elizabeth and I had a great time at our first event together at the Sister Lakes Lions Club’s Pancake Breakfast Labor Day weekend.

Started off our first Goodwill Tour with a great breakfast at The Willows.

On the Tour
The day started with St. Joseph Today. I loved seeing all of the amazing chalk artist at Chalk the Block.
We then enjoyed a beautiful parade in Coloma for the Glad Peach Festival.
Our day ended with one of our favorite places to help out at, the Sister Lakes Lions Club.
Helping at the Compelled Outreach at the Blue Roof Church was a blast. I loved hanging out with these girls.
The Ambassadors Dinner was great. It was hard to say good bye to Alyssa and Heather. They have great things ahead of them.
I am excited to welcome Halie and Elizabeth to our Southwest Family!

It was great to get the new contestants for the Miss Southwest Michigan and Miss Southwest Michigan Teen pageant. We had a lot of fun washing cars.

We had a great time helping out at the Sister Lakes Lions Club Fireworks show. We helped sell raffle tickets and popcorn. We even got to draw the winning tickets.
Camp Leo has been one of my favorite events so far. We had dinner with the campers, helped with the carnival, and got to see an awesome talent show.
The Coloma Lioness’s had a great table with temporary tattoos, stuffed animals, and bags with Camp Leo printed on them.
The Hartford Strawberry Festival started with Kendra and I running the One Mile Fun Run.

The next stop was our first partner Southwestern Michigan Tourist Council where we learned about the New Pure Michigan commercial of Southwest Michigan.

Next we went to our third Partner the Volunteer Center of Southwest Michigan.
Next we went to our fourth Partner Martin’s School of Cooking in Stevensville.
Next we went to our fifth Partner at St. Joseph Today Center. Got to meet Whitney and learn about all our responsibilities for the year.
