Pre-Teen 2018 Newsletter

Dear Southwest Friends and Family,

It is hard to believe that I have been the Southwest Michigan Preteen for almost six months already.  This has been a dream come true for me.  It has been so much fun being able to represent my platform and working with the many organizations over the last six months.

So far, I have been able to work with the Therapeutic Equine Center in several ways.  I have listed tack and other items for sale, helped with chores around the barn, stack feed and spent time getting to know the horses and many volunteers.  I have met so many wonderful people and knowing that we are making a difference is the jewel in the crown.

I have enjoyed so much getting to know my Southwest Family.  Ashley Little, Briana Gleason, and Mckenna O’ Donoghue are a great bunch of girls to work with. It has been a blast going to events with them and I can't wait for the Good Will Tour to begin.  It is always so great to give back to people in our community and share the experience, as well as, my platform with the people we come in contact with.

The first fund raiser that I am doing for the Therapeutic Equine Center will be a pancake breakfast. Please follow upcoming events on our Facebook page.  We are also doing a flock the lawn fund raiser in the spring.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for this experience.  I know that at the end of my year I will have had so many wonderful memories to look back on but more importantly I will have made a difference in Southwest Michigan and I have the Southwest Michigan organization to thank.

Thank you so much for honoring me with the privilege of representing Southwest Michigan as your Pre-Teen.

Yours in Christ
